As President, LeCates Will Lead Hospital COOPERSTOWN

e has the job. Dr. William LeCates will “become president of Bassett Hospital when the network CEO transition is completed,” it was noted in last week’s press release announcing the resignation of Vance Brown as CEO of the eight-county healthcare network. LeCates was appointed to the post on an interim basis Nov. 3, when the Bassett trustees announced they were creating the position of president at the Cooperstown hospital so the CEO could focus more fully on managing the healthcare network.
