Council Okays Selling Parking Lots For Lofts ONEONTA

C

ommon Council has approved selling a quarter of the Dietz Street parking lot to Kearney Realty & Development by a vote of 7-1. Only Council Member Michelle Osterhaudt, Ward Four, voted nay. Kearney will build the proposed artist’s Lofts on Dietz. Though opponents of the project said it would exacerbate a perceived parking crisis, the vote to approve the sale was met with applause by the gathered crowd.
