Dog Park Could Be In Progress By Spring 2020 ONEONTA

A

proposed Oneonta dog park is edging closer to reality as Mayor Gary Herzig said it would be a priority in the 2020 budget. The proposed 1.15 acre park would cost $50,000 and would be in Catella Park. Though Council Member John Rafter, Seventh Ward, proposed a fee for users, other council members objected If approved in the budget, Herzig believes construction could start in the spring.
