car crashing into the Plains at Parish caused “extensive damage” to the exterior wall of the building, but no injuries were reported by state police. Janet A. Humphreys, 83, was parked facing north when she allegedly hit the gas instead of the brake on her 2000 Honda Accord while in reverse, causing her to cross Heritage Circle and strike the building near Apartment 114. State police, West Oneonta Fire Department, Oneonta Town code enforcement and structural engineers responded. Humphreys was not issued a ticket. CLEMENS RITES: A memorial service for John K. Clemens, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27 at the First United Methodist Church, 66 Chestnut St., Oneonta. Following the service, a reception will be held in Foreman Gallery in the Anderson Center for the Arts, Hartwick College.
