The couple, who have directed Cooperstown High School’s annual musical for the last six years, are taking a ďŹ nal bow with the production of “Les Miserablesâ€? Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 14-17. “We ďŹ gured we’d go out with something simple,â€? Barbara joked. “We wanted something that hadn’t

been done,� said Sammy. “The rights only became available last December, and we didn’t want to do the junior version.� With 70 students, it’s also the largest cast they’ve ever had on stage. “What’s great about ‘Les Miz’ is that it has dozens of feature parts for the kids,� said Barbara.
