Crestview Heights Golf Course is the first golf course in the county to debut FootGolf, a new sport that’s sweeping the nation. “My son Josh started getting into it and suggested I play,� said Rikki Taranto, general manager of Crestview, the golf arm of the Riverstone Restaurant. “I don’t golf, but FootGolf was absolutely awesome.

It was so cool to be out on the course, using the same thought and mind that a golfer would.� The sport, a combination of soccer and golf, started in The Netherlands in 2009 and moved to the U.S. in 2011.
