Guy Zangari is the new Manager: Family Wellbeing and Education for Sydney Catholic Schools

Guy undertook his tertiary studies at the Australian Catholic University studying a Bachelor of Education in Technological and Applied Studies/Religious Studies.

He spent seventeen years in Sydney and Parramatta Catholic schools, teaching, coaching sporting teams, Year and Subject Coordinating as well as Pastoral Care Coordinating.
In March 2011 Guy was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales as the Member for Fairfield.

During his tenure in the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales he was appointed as a Shadow Minister in portfolios such as Justice and Police, Emergency Services, Corrections just to name a few.
Guy was also a member of several Legislative Assembly House Committees. Guy retired from NSW Parliament at the 2023 State Election.
As a Shadow Minister and MP, Guy worked closely in the advocacy for the not-for-profit sector through ministerial representations to the NSW Government. Additionally, he worked alongside these groups in their applications for funding via the Community Building Partnerships Program.
During the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, Guy established through the Fairfield Electorate Office, the “Fairfield Electorate Care Package Program” which assisted thirteen not-for-profit organisations in distributing essential Hygiene and Health care products in hampers to vulnerable members of the community.
In 2021 Guy was invested as a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. He has taken an oath to promote Catholic faith in his local parish and to support Christians persecuted in Palestine. Guy takes his participation in parish life at John The Baptist Parish, Bonnyrigg Heights seriously through his contribution as a Special Minister of the Eucharist, Lector and volunteer. He has also been a member of the Parish Pastoral Council.
Guy is a father of four children with his wife Melissa. They both met at the Australian Catholic University during their studies and have been married for 28 years. Guy and Melissa as parents have the best possible insight into raising children attending Catholic Schools in a technologically and socially challenging period.
They believe in the ethos of Catholic Education and the positive cultural environment it brings to all associated with it.

Erano partiti in tre dalla Val di Non, lo scorso gennaio, per vivere un'esperienza di lavoro in una fattoria in Australia. Un incidente stradale il 2 giugno nella città di Perth, sulla costa occidentale, ha in un attimo spezzato la vita di Jacopo Martini, 23 anni di Sarnonico, in alta valle di Non. Il ragazzo è morto nello schianto.
Luca Calliari, 24 anni di Rome- no in provincia di Trento, è rimasto ferito in maniera grave ed è stato operato d'urgenza.

Giuseppe Martini, fratello maggiore di Jacopo, non era sull'auto ed è toccato a lui comunicare la tragica notizia ai genitori. Secondo le prime ricostruzioni, l'auto su cui viaggiavano Jacopo e Luca si sarebbe scontrata con un altro mezzo ad un incrocio.
