Hello! My name is Chester Toye, and I’m excited to step into the role of Program Coordinator with Community Education. Over the past 18 months, I’ve worked as an Enrollment Specialist, supporting student registration, customer service, and program operations. In my new role, I’ll focus on recruiting local instructors, developing new programming, and helping ensure our classes reflect the interests and talents of our community. I’m grateful to share this role with veteran Program Coordinator Sue Stone, who has been an invaluable part of the CE team for many years and has already become an incredible mentor. A few fun facts about me: I’m originally from New Jersey and I moved
to Corvallis from Los Angeles in 2024. Before working at LBCC I received my MFA in Photography from UCLA and spent a decade working in fine art and film production. I’m a college football fan, support Aston Villa and the Seattle Mariners, coach youth lacrosse with Corvallis Parks & Rec, and hope to complete a Half Ironman someday.
