For over 93 years, Allen Edmonds has been focused on delivering superior quality, the American Way. It starts with first rate materials—notice, for example, the distressed kudu leather on our new Normandy Boot or our Horween friends’ oil-soaked Chromepak on our Northland camp moccasins. Then, it carries through our artisans’ handcrafted details like the chiseled toe shapes and beveled arches on the new Lake Forest, Cornwallis and Yorktown styles. We’ve never stopped using great materials and the decades-old methods of fine shoemaking. Anyone who has seriously played team sports or in a music group knows that sometimes, after a lot of work, it just all comes together…better than ever before. That’s what we have in this year’s Fall Collection—the overall best and also the broadest group of new shoe styles that we’ve ever offered.

For nearly a century we have continued to adhere to our 212-step manufacturing process because great craftsmanship cannot and should not be rushed. To that end, during upper sewing, our skilled cutters and sewers still create the upper portion of each shoe by hand using time-tested methods, hand-cut pieces of leather and dependable, decades-old sewing machines. This attention to detail and adherence to traditional techniques gives each Allen Edmonds upper the unique combination of personality and quality that has always—and will always—define our shoes.
