Created by Bob Steffes, our incredibly skilled manager of shoe finishing, this new color epitomizes the care we put into handcrafting each of our classic dress shoes right here in Port Washington. By spending more time hand-burnishing our premium calfskin, Allen Edmonds artisans give this new chili leather richer hues that are perfect for fall colors, suits to jeans Bob’s Chili will warm you up.

Colder weather doesn’t mean all work and no play, of course. With footwear made from authentic football leather, plus our expanded line of boots, we have many great options for you. That’s why we’re proud to introduce Bob’s Chili, our new dark chili burnished leather. Named after our head of finishing, Bob’s Chili was an experiment on the burnishing wheel. He combined several unique dyes and a pinch or two of secret sauce to create distinctly powerful highs and lows in the Chili color range.
