At its June 8, 2026, regular meeting, the Allendale Public Schools Board of Education voted to reduce the debt millage levy from 12.00 mills to 10.06 mills, providing tax relief for district property owners while maintaining a responsible debt repayment schedule. In addition, a steering committee made up of several community members, has spent the past several months reviewing district needs, developing a long-term facilities master plan, and prioritizing future improvements. Based on the committee’s recommendations, the Board is considering two ballot proposals for the November 4, 2026, general election that would address identified facility needs without increasing the current debt tax levy Additional information about these proposals will be shared with the community in the coming months.
