In-kind sponsorships are an important way for businesses to support the 5K by donating goods or services that help enhance the event and reduce operational costs. Contributions may include items such as bottled water, fruit, or snacks for runners; race supplies like tents, tables, signage, or water stations; participant items such as race shirts, medals, or swag bag giveaways; or professional services like photography, dj services or medical support. These contributions help create a positive race experience for participants while allowing local businesses to showcase their support for the community and the Nacogdoches trail system.

Sponsoring the Running of the Blueberries 5K/ 10K/ 1 mi offers businesses a meaningful opportunity to invest in the health, recreation, and quality of life in the Nacogdoches community. Held during the weekend of the popular Texas Blueberry Festival, the race brings together residents and visitors who share a passion for staying active and supporting local initiatives. By partnering with this event, sponsors demonstrate their commitment to strengthening the community while gaining positive visibility among participants, spectators, and festival attendees.
Proceeds from the race directly support the upkeep and maintenance of the City of Nacogdoches trail system. These trails provide safe and accessible spaces for residents to run, walk, and enjoy the outdoors. Sponsorship contributions help ensure the trails remain well-maintained and allow for necessary repairs when sections become worn or damaged over time. Through sponsorship, businesses play a direct role in preserving these valuable recreational spaces and promoting a healthier, more connected community for years to come.
