The City of Nacogdoches Code Enforcement Staff has witnessed many of the Lawn Maintenance Companies blowing grass clippings into the City Streets.
This is a friendly reminder to some & to serve notice to any new lawn care business that this is a violation of our City Ordinance:
Section 82-6 Acts declared trespasses or nuisance, for the act of permitting the Disposal of Lawn Debris onto public property.
While doing yard work, please do not blow or direct grass clippings, leaves or debris into any city street or public storm drain. This is dangerous, poses a traffic safety issue, and the debris contributes to the clogging of city storm water drain systems.
