Pinkerton will delve into the vibrant and often illicit world of trade and horse smuggling in Spanish colonial Texas prior to 1821. His talk will follow the journey of the displaced families of Los Adaes, who went on to become the founding families of modern Nacogdoches, shedding light on the complex networks they navigated to survive and thrive.
