Gardening Efforts at Historic Sites

At the Durst-Taylor Historic House and Gardens, the kitchen garden is currently thriving with a variety of lettuces and herbs, alongside a “sweet garden” featuring sugar cane, watermelon, and strawberries. At the Sterne-Hoya House, the historic 1920s underground greenhouse is now back in use, serving as a sheltered space for young plants until they’re ready to be placed in the ground.
