Community Happenings Mark your calendars for Freedom Fest on July 4th! This firework show is put on by the Nacogdoches Jaycees and provides residents a chance to enjoy music, food, vendors and more! Check here for more information on the event. Join us for a Picnic in the Park to kick off the America 250 celebrations in Nacogdoches! Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation and Nacogdoches Law Enforcement Foundation are excited to add this day of family fun to start off your Independence Day weekend. This event is proudly sponsored by Eaton! We will have sports, games, and giveaways, and you will be able to join our Nacogdoches Police and Fire Departments for Hot Dogs with your Heroes!
