Ped Ex - f o c u s o n p ed ag o g y @ AH L C 23 M ay 2014 St Mary’s, Congleton! We have returned to school after the half term break with the memory of an amazing day. The Learning Conference has delivered yet another inspirational day with staff from across the learning community sharing their experiences and expertise to drive improvements across the partnership. ! ! This year the format was a bit different and this was embraced by staff across our learning community. The introduction of the Teachmeet format was fantastically well received with staff sharing ideas to improve teaching and learning, using a wide variety of methodologies all supporting our core structure of TEEP. The success of this venture was definitely partly down to the excellent compere we had on the day. As always the quality of the workshops on
offer could rival any learning conference.! ! We were privileged to be joined this year by Mike Simpson from Kilgarth School sharing with us his experiences of working with challenging students and offering straight forward and effective ideas of how to work with our students to get the most out of them in our lessons. The feedback from Mike's session was overwhelmingly positive and we thank him for the contribution he made to the day.! ! Thank you to everyone who took part on the day and who helped make it such a great celebration of the work that is going on across the All Hallows Learning Community.!
