Recommended Reads Help support your child's learning by encouraging them to read widely and independently at home. Every week, college staff and students will recommend a book for Key Stages 3 and 4. Many of these books can be borrowed from the school library. KS3 - The 'Goosebumps' series by R.L. Stine are great books that tell stories of teenagers in different spooky situations. Read them all...if you dare! Mollie Easterby, Year 7 KS4 - 'The Maze Runner' by James Dashner is a sci-fi-adventure-mystery-action book that is guaranteed to scare you, puzzle you and keep you turning pages. It is the story of a group of memory-wiped boys' attempts to escape from the Maze. It contains numerous action scenes and extreme suspense that makes putting it down almost as difficult as solving the Maze... James Musgrave, Year 9
