Parents As Partners MOBILE TELEPHONES Parents and students are reminded that all students mobile phones must be switched off between 8:40am and 3:30pm and not be used for any reason during the day. Failure to comply with this rule may result in items being confiscated which will have to be collected from College by a parent. If a student is ill and uses the ‘medical room’, then the office staff must contact home, not the student on their mobile phone. Thank you for your on-going support with this matter. Seeking revenge against the bullies at his new school, Book Amnesty A significant number of books went missing from the library last year, notably from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, numerous Roald Dahl, Tom Gates and David Walliams titles, as well as all of the Geek Girl series. Many of these books were brand new. As I am sure you understand, purchasing and having to replace these items impacts heavily on our budget. Therefore, if you have any library books at home, I would ask kindly that they are returned, no questions asked. All our students can then benefit from an increased choice of books on the shelves. Sports News India Wilson from All Hallows Catholic College, is now ranked in the top 10 of U17 fencers in this country and has been invited onto the GBR talent development camps (designed for those aiming to compete at European and World Championship level) and another student of All Hallows, has just been selected to represent the West Midlands on the senior women’s Epee team this July. So we are still making great progress – thank you to all for your support!
