All Hallows Catholic College Newsletter Trinity Term College Prayer Prayer for the Faithful Departed. Lord God, creator of all, you have promised us a share in life eternal. May all who have died in the peace of Christ come with your saints to the joys of your kingdom, where there will be neither sorrow nor pain, but life everlasting. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen Prayer Focus : Faithful Departed Specialism success Linguists across all Key Stages in the Languages Department use www.memrise.com to consolidate and extend their learning of key vocabulary and phrases. Teachers can monitor the progress of each student and each class has a leader board. Whilst once a seemingly laborious task for the students, the new interactive method and the element of competition has made vocabulary learning extremely enjoyable and teachers are seeing the benefit in classwork and especially in the most recent assessments. www.memrise.com is a free tool with a handy app, why not give it a go in your subject?
