Creator God, You created a beautiful world for all your children. As we taste and smell the fruits of this creation help us to remember those who farm the land to grow them. Help us live in a partnership of love and support with those who produce our food and drink so that we might enable others to feed their families and create a sustainable future. Amen Prayer focus: Fairtrade
Specialism Success We have just returned from a very successful visit to Schiller Gymnasium in Cologne. All students made the most of the experience by immersing themselves as much as possible in German culture, trying traditional food and speaking the language as much as possible. Our students were very impressed with the German school and especially appreciated the school dog, Pauli, who presented them all with a Schiller Gymnasium t-shirt at the end of the exchange. We are looking forward to receiving the German students in June. To find out more about what we got up to in Germany, search for us on Twitter using the handle @allhallowscc or #ahccincologne.

Parents As Partners Organise your study space. As the exam season is approaching with Year 10 and 12 mocks, here is a tip to help your son/daughter in their preparation. Make sure you have enough space to spread your textbooks and notes out. Have you got enough light? Is your chair comfortable? Are your computer games out of sight? Try and get rid of all distractions, and make sure you feel as comfortable and able to focus as possible. For some people, this may mean almost complete silence; for others, background music helps. Think about what works for you, and take the time to get it right. Year 11,12,13 external examinations timetables are issued this week.
