All Hallows Catholic College Newsletter Easter Term Friday 27 February 2015 COLLEGE PRAYER PRAYER FOR FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT Lord, open our eyes so that we do not sit indifferently in front of issues of injustice. Lord, use our voices to give voice to those who cannot be heard. Lord, bless our campaigning and give us courage when we feel we are working in vain. Let our skills and voices become a strength for those whose skills and voices are trapped by poverty or exploitation. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

SPECIALISM SUCCESS

This year All Hallows was granted funding to send staff on a French course. So in February half-term Mr Sweeney and Miss Easter decided to immerse themselves in the French language, food and culture during a 6-day course in Rouen, Normandy. Alongside brushing up their French they also developed their culinary skills making macaroons from scratch.

TIME 2 CHANGE We look forward to welcoming participating winning teams to The Romero Centre of All Hallows Catholic College on 11 March 2015. The Programme and timings for drop off and pick up of students at Reception is in the link below. Students do not need to be accompanied by teachers. Lunch is provided for students at no charge. Headteachers/Teachers delivering The Project are invited to attend to see the final presentations. If any staff arrive before the presentations start, light refreshment will be provided. CAN ANY FAMILIES HELP? We received a request from a Spanish family looking for accommodation for their two daughters who hope to study for one term in autumn 2015 in our college. The girls are aged 14 and 13 and the family is willing to pay for board and lodgings. If you are able to help and would like more details then please contact Mr Blades, Assistant Principal, at the College for more details (01625 426138 staffmpb@allhallows.org.uk).
