College Prayer Prayer for the feast of Saints Peter & Paul (June 29) Almighty God, whose blessed apostles Peter and Paul glorified you in their death as in their life: grant that your Church, inspired by their teaching and example, and made one by your Spirit, may ever stand firm upon the one foundation, Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. Prayer focus: Saints Peter & Paul

Feast of Saints Peter & Paul, June 29 celebration of Mass at St. Alban's RC Church. Please note that students in years 7 - 10 will have the opportunity to join in the Celebration of Mass on this Holyday of Obligation at St. Alban's RC Church on Thursday June 29. Students will be escorted as they walk to and from the church and we strongly advise they carry a lightweight waterproof in the event of inclement weather or sun block (and water) should the weather be hot and sunny. Students who would normally carry medication such as inhalers or Epipens must be carried with them. Years 7 & 8 will be joined by parishioners for the 9.30 am Mass. The Mass for Years 9 & 10 will be at 2.00 pm. Specialism Success Congratulations to Thomas Coates on being offered a 4 week paid internship with East Cheshire NHS Trust working as a Project Assistant in The Cheshire Career Hub Department. Thomas was interviewed along with 2 other students from All Hallows in a competitive recruitment process which also involved delivering a presentation on a subject of their choice. The internship will involve him preparing and producing materials for careers events (including promotional fliers), updating social media platforms and calendar of events, various administrative tasks and attending meetings. We wish him every success with their internship which will start on 3 July 2017.

Attendance matters at All Hallows 100% attendance competition Students across Years 7 to 10 will be challenged to have 100% attendance over the next 6 weeks as well as receiving no behaviour points. Competitions like this have helped attendance to be raised in the past and the prizes always prove popular amongst students. Students will enter a prize draw for Amazon gift vouchers if they have 100% attendance and no behaviour points for the next 6 weeks up to Monday 17 July. We will have 2 prizes: 1 male student and 1 female student. Both students will win £50 worth of Amazon vouchers. Attendance matters at All Hallows and the link between attendance and achievement is well known and shared with our students. The format of the competition this year was agreed by the College Council.
