College Prayer Prayer for Fairtrade Fortnight, Feb 26 - March11 Father God, You created a beautiful world for all your children. As we enjoy the fruits of your creation, help us live in a partnership of love and support with those who work the land and those who produce our food and drink so that we might enable others to feed their families and create a sustainable future. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. Prayer focus: Fairtrade
Parents As Partners ParentPay for Meals / Food in Café Bernard Please note tokens are no longer available from Finance to use for a meal or food in Café Bernard if there are no funds on a student’s account. In extreme cases there is a £5 overdraft facility which can only be used at the food tills in Café Bernard. For any student using this facility they will be advised at the till that they need to inform their parent / carer to put monies on their ParentPay account. It is important that the account be settled right away so that access to other College activities requiring payment can proceed. Once the £5 overdraft has been reached then the student will not be able to purchase a meal or food until funds are available in their ParentPay account. Finance Office
Kind Angel I am sending an email to you to recognise the kind act of two of your male students. I don’t know who they are but I would like to thank them for helping me in my hour of need! I live on Westbury Drive, which is situated behind your School. I was attempting to drive my son to his primary school this morning but I could not get my car to move on the road once I came off my drive, due to the icy conditions and the road having a slight gradient. Two of your male students, while on their way to school, offered to help us. The two young men pushed the car whilst I tried to drive it up the road. Thanks to their help, we managed to do it and my son got to school on time! I’m not sure if it’s possible for your Head Teacher to thank the two students in School assembly or in some other way but I think they deserve some recognition, as it was not easy to push the car in those conditions and we would have been very late for our school drop off if they hadn’t helped! Thank you Best wishes Sarah Bailey
