College Prayer Prayer for Lent Walk with me Jesus - a prayer for Lent Jesus I pray that you will walk with me along my Pilgrim journey. When I grow weary Lord, comfort me with your Holy Spirit. In my trials, when the shades of life are falling Lord, walk with me. In my sorrows and joys, Lord walk with me. As I place my soul in to your hands, give me the grace to serve you Jesus, as I walk towards eternity. I ask this in your name, Jesus. Amen. Prayer focus: Journey through lent.

Specialism Success The final round of The Time 2 Change Competition 2017 was celebrated in The Romero Centre at All Hallows on 9 March 2017 with 8 local primary schools sending their own winning teams to compete. The challenge set was to design the Headquarters for a company that produces Fairtrade products in a named foreign country. Teams had to purchase resources and materials using the appropriate foreign language, design a logo for the company and redesign the country's flag incorporating a Fairtrade theme. With each team working on a different country, pupils came up with some fantastic designs. Four judges had a difficult job choosing a winner as the standard was so high across all the schools that took part. In the end, after presentations from each team, The 'Overall Winner Award' for 2017 went to St Gregory's, with St Alban's, coming in as 'Runners Up' and The 'Best Team Folder Award' went to St Benedicts. The Awards were presented by judges Tom Agar, Jacob Sibley, James Wilson and Chris Bennett. As an added bonus, the competition, which started back in September 2016 raised around £1,000 for more than 10 different charities. The whole event was organised by Y12

BTEC Business students as part of their course, following a unit called 'Organising a Business Event'. Congratulations to those students for putting on a successful event that was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

Students are kindly reminded that they should not wear make up or attempt to colour their hair green! During Lent all students are working with their tutor to organise a fundraising activity in aid of our India project. There are prizes available for the Tutor Group that raises the most money and individual prizes the student in each year group who makes the most positive contribution to the fundraising activities.
