This is further accentuated by the occasion being marked as the Sapphire Jubilee Carnival, commemorating 65 years. How will this influence the dress code’s style you ask? Well it’s fair to expect an infusion of gold, sparkle and glamour, or perhaps an embrace of classical styles with some original flare.

Headwear

A headpiece is what the races are all about! When selecting headwear, consider your face shape and skin undertone. Being situated in a tropical oasis, Fashions on the Field is challenging participants to incorporate elements of our region. From lush rainforests to the Great Barrier Reef, we have an array of spaces to get inspired by, and a rainbow of rich colours to don. Remember to also dress for the climate and opt for breathable fabrics.

Be Allergy Aware

As we approach Spring, we see an increase in prevalence of asthma and allergy symptoms. Identify your triggers and work with your doctor and pharmacist to decide what will work best for you. Depending on your symptoms and sensitivities, a pharmacist will recommend appropriate preventative and symptom management medication.

A steroid nasal spray: persistent to moderate to severe hay fever symptoms. Reduce swelling in the lining of your nose. For example Nasonex or Rhinocort.
