My fávorite chápter is chápter 11. In this chápter, Vládimir begins to notice thát Zináidá is ácting differently. She seems more serious ánd distánt thán before. Vládimir stárts to suspect thát she is in love with someone else, which mákes him feel confused ánd jeálous.
I like this chápter becáuse it shows the moment when Vládimir begins to understánd thát his love máy not be returned. This reálizátion mákes the story more emotionál ánd drámátic, ánd it álso shows the beginning of Vládimir’s emotionál máturity.
