Oh H e y !

I’m glad you’re here! I’m Alison and creating unique Senior Portraits has been one of my “favs” for over 16 years. I combine years of technical skill with artistry to make images you’ll be proud to look back on and remember this milestone senior year of your life. The BEST time to take your pictures is before you start sports/activities practice in the fall. May and June offer mild weather and more flexible schedules, making them ideal months for senior portraits.

Many clients appreciate the sense of accomplishment that comes with completing their senior photos early in the season, alleviating stress during the busy fall months. While autumn's colors are pretty, they are often short-lived and hard to predict. Luckily, achieving a “fall vibe” can also be accomplished through thoughtful wardrobe choices and postediting techniques.

is for you?

Want to feel like a model and create a gallery of images full of variety? I’ve got you! Or maybe you want a quick session with a few great images to make mom happy...there’s a session for that too!

What to bring for gals

a parent or other decision maker nude or strapless bra if needed. accessories like jewelry, sunglasses, jackets, boots, etc a light natural tan looks better in photos than a super dark bed tan. Tan lines are not included in standard retouching.

You will be leaning and bending for many poses. If modesty is a concern you may want to avoid v-neck tops and very short skirts as these can really limit the selection of poses in that outfit.

What to bring for guys

a parent or other decision maker clean shoes/colored socks (if needed) accessories like hoodies, hats, jackets, etc Don’t forget to shave if you want a clean shaven look. Haircuts are best done 1-2 weeks before your session.

The session you choose will determine the number of outfits included in your session.

helpful quick tips

WARDROBE CHEAT SHEET:

A “great pair of jeans” outfit

An outfit that is ‘typical you ”

An outfit mom/dad like Something fancy, unusual, layered, (think heels, jackets, sweaters, etc) an outfit from a different season at least one non-patterned shirt/outfit

Think about a variety of “looks” to achieve a variety of looks. Even if white sundresses look great on you, it’s nice to have a variety of looks, sleeve lengths, etc, to get a variety of looks.

Hey Guys, let’s talk about PLAID...

A striped or plaid shirt can be great, but it’s best to have some solid shirt choices in your line-up as well.

WARDROBE

When it comes to making clothing choices, I recommend two things...things YOU love and VARIETY.

Be sure to bring something mom likes too (it’s the least you can do, right?) Aim for variety in colors, fabric choices, and even if it’s mid July you can add variety by bringing a sweater ...get the idea? Shopping can be part of the fun, but it’s not a requirement to have great images. I guarantee what you have in your closet right now is a great base for a lot of great looks.

SPORTS &hobbies

SPORTS

A sport/hobby can be added to one of your included outfits at no charge if it is 1- 2 simple props (ie a ball and bat, an instrument, etc)

DELUXE SPORTS $50

Add a sport hobby session for $50 if you have more than 3 items, you need to add an outfit, or for more involved set ups (ie, a drum set, animal, multiple jerseys and gear, etc)

IDEA

As an alternative to your full uniform, you might want to consider wearing a jersey with jeans, a letterman’s jacket, t-shirt, or school hoodie.

LET’Scollab

If you have a location in mind, let me know! Don't have a spot in mind? (Most seniors don't) I take the inspiration from YOU & YOUR outfits to determine locations and destinations that are going to create the type of images you want. Spontaneity has created some of MY FAVORITE images! So leave the scouting to me!
