for many decades, not to mention his Brazilian bred horsesin the international arenas.
In total 350 horses competed in the show, and international exhibitors from several countries including Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Chile, USA, and Uruguay were present alongside the local that came from all over Brazil. A great number of sales were made throughout the show totaling an impressive amount of R$ 50 million (approximately USD 10 million) overall. On the evening of the opening ceremony a beautiful welcome dinner was hosted for all the visitors, including breeders, exhibitors, show officials and guests. The hightlight of the night was the much deserved homage presented to Rodolfo Guzzo, in recognitionof his amazing work as a superb 66 | TUTTO ARABI - www.tuttoarabi.com

THE HALTER CLASSES To be able to write about my country´s most important show is always an honor for me. But this year in particular it has an extra special meaning since I was invited by the Brazilian Arabian Horse Breeders Association (ABCCA) to be part of the judging panel for the halter classes. It was a magnificent experience to be inside the ring this time, alongside some of the world´s greatest horsemen and therefore I would like to publicly thank the ABCCA for the invitation. The Brazilian National Show has been a highlight of the international show circuit and several of the contenders here become international champions afterwards. This year the high quality of the horses entered was equally impressive and some of them have already found new homes in the Middle East, Europe and in the U.S.
The judging this year was slightly different. Seven judges were in charge of the classes, in a rotation system where five were in the ring while two were in the stands, so to say. The judging panel was comprised of the following:
• • • • • • •
Abdulaziz Al Marzooqi – UAE Mario Braga – Brazil Tom Schouckens – Belgium George Zbyszweski – USA Joseph Polo – USA Cathy Murphy – USA Nelson Moreira – Brazil

SergioFiorentino
The suspended time of the gaze by Matteo Chincarini
In contemporary art, where images are often expected to surprise through excess or provocation, Sergio Fiorentino’s painting takes a different path: that of silence. His painting does not raise its voice, but holds the viewer’s gaze; his figures seem to emerge from a suspended dimension, far removed from current events and the contingencies of the moment, to inhabit a space where time expands and the image regains an almost ritualistic function. It is precisely in this apparent distance from the present that the profoundly contemporary power of his work lies. His works do not depict the world as it is, but challenge the viewer to consider what remains essential to the human experience: presence, memory, myth and beauty.

It is precisely this dialogue with art history that defines the originality of his artistic exploration. The old masters serve as a constant point of reference, not so much to be imitated as to be engaged with. From them, Fiorentino inherits a sense of proportion, the purity of composition and the essentiality of form; his knowledge of restoration and the figurative tradition is evident in the precision of his drawing, the balance of his proportions and the quality of his paint application. The classical canons thus become not a constraint, but a foundation upon which to build a fully contemporary language.

Where The Dolomites Become Your Own A sanctuary to slow down, move with intention, and experience the mountains at your own pace.
Some mornings begin in absolute stillness – crisp mountain air, silent peaks, and untamed trails waiting just outside. Others unfold with artisanal coffee, an abundant breakfast, and the rare luxury of having nowhere to be. Nestled in Nova Ponente in the South Tyrolean Dolomites, the four-star Aktiv- & Vitalhotel Erica unites everything that defines an extraordinary alpine escape: majestic nature, conscious movement, transformative wellness, and unhurried time. Shaped by generations of the Brunner family, Erica offers a style of hospitality that is deeply personal yet effortlessly refined. You don't just come to look at the Dolomites. You come to live them.
THE DOLOMITES AT YOUR DOOR Exclusive alpine days, pristine forests, and boundless freedom. The landscape around Nova Ponente feels open and majestic. From Erica, the breathtaking scenery is an organic part of your daily life. • Summer: Guided hikes across alpine ridges, and premier cycling (E-bike, gravel, road bike) through the Eggental valley as a proud BikeHotels South Tyrol partner. • Winter: Pristine snow-covered forests, elite skiing in nearby Obereggen, snowshoeing, and romantic winter walks. • The Principle: Step outside. Lose track of time. Follow where the day leads.
A LEGACY OF HOSPITALITY A heritage ofdistinction since 1939. Erica began in 1 939 as an intimate ten-room guesthouse founded by Alois and Rosa Wieser. Over eight decades, the house evolved organically—from a cozy mountain retreat into a sophisticated fourstar wellness hotel under Luis Brunner. What remains constant? Genuine family warmth, a legendary kitchen, and the magnetic pull of the mountains. Returning guests are greeted with the simple feeling that a conversation is merely continuing where it left off.
THE ARTISANS OF WELCOME A family dedicated to excellence. At Erica, the Brunner family infuses every corner with personal grace. • Luis Brunner guides the house with a visionary spirit and a connoisseur’s passion for exceptional wines. • Dr. Iolanda “Iole” Di Genua oversees the spa, bringing deep expertise in holistic wellbeing and the Bowen Technique. • The Next Generation: Alexa and Mirco welcome you at reception, Felix is your insider for golf and leisure, and Sara leads transformative yoga and forest-bathing sessions. Supported by Executive Chef Arnold Paris, the team anticipates your wishes before they are spoken.
YOUR PRIVATE RETREAT Sanctuaries ofcalm framing the peaks. After an alpine adventure, your room becomes a private haven of restoration. Combining natural regional woods, sophisticated design, and dramatic panoramic windows, every space invites you to breathe. • The Dolomite Suite opens toward the Corno Bianco. • The Latemar Rooms capture floods of natural light. • The Experience: Kick off your hiking boots, swing open the balcony doors, and surrender to the view.
ERICA’S VITAL SPA Thermal waters, mountain air, and absolute restoration. An active day demands an exceptional sanctuary. Erica’s Vital SPA is an architectural masterpiece designed to alter your perception of time. • Pools: Connected indoor and outdoor pools with uninterrupted mountain views, plus revitalizing whirlpools. • Sauna World: Panoramic sauna, snow sauna, Finnish sauna, steam baths, brine grotto, and herbal sanctuaries. • The Result: Warm skin, deep silence, and the ultimate luxury of renewal.
HOLISTIC WELLBEING Yoga, mindfulness, and inner balance. Wellbeing at Erica is an invitation to tune into your own rhythm. • Yoga & Mindfulness: Dedicated sessions with Sara focusing on alignment, breath, and stillness. • Body & Mind: Holistic treatments by Dr. Iolanda Di Genua, Technogym fitness equipment, and forest-bathing journeys through whispering trees. • The Metric: Not how much you do, but how completely you feel restored.
THE ACTIVE CONNOISSEUR For those who demand more than a view. The Dolomites are an irresistible playground. At Erica, physical engagement is woven into the location. • Golf: Privileged access to Golf Club Petersberg (1 0 mins away) and Golf Club Carezza. • Action: First-class tennis, guided mountain tours, and comprehensive bike facilities. • The Rhythm: Play hard under the sun. Swim, sauna, dine, and rest deeply.
SOUTH TYROL ON THE PLATE Culinary mastery and seasonal purity. Executive Chef Arnold Paris and his team orchestrate a brilliant synthesis of authentic South Tyrolean heritage and light Mediterranean influences. • Morning: Artisanal breads, local cheeses, organic dairy, and hot dishes prepared à la carte. • Afternoon: A refined Wellness Vital Jause. • Evening: Exquisite multi-course menus accompanied by magnificent wine pairings. Pure, unadulterated pleasure.
WINE, APERITIVO & ELEGANCE The noble drops ofSouth Tyrol. Wine is Luis Brunner’s lifelong passion. Bottle by bottle, he has curated a vinotheque celebrating independent local producers alongside rare international vintages. Every Sunday, arriving guests are welcomed with an exclusive aperitivo – an intimate introduction to the house and the week ahead. Begin on the terrace, flow into dinner, and finish with a rare glass by the hearth.
A NEW DEFINITION OF LUXURY Space, silence, and absolute autonomy. True luxury isn't excess; it is having space, time, and complete freedom of choice. Whether conquering peaks, finding sanctuary in the spa, or enjoying total privacy. • Sustainability: Proud holder of the South Tyrol Sustainability Label – Level 2. Through regional sourcing and renewable energy, the family protects the paradise they call home.
FIND YOUR ERICA The Dolomites provide the canvas. The rest is yours. There is no template for an Erica holiday. There is only yours. For four generations, the Brunner family has perfected a singular philosophy: Take care of the people, honor the place, and grant your guests the freedom to experience true relaxation in their own way.
