Wrap up from the Planeteers!

The Planteers program recently wrapped up with a round of presentations from participants on what they learned during the six workshop series.

Over two afternoons a total of 13 Planeteers were filmed sharing their reflections on the program, the actions they’ve taken or planned to support the environment as a result of what they’ve learned, and what they’d like to learn in future workshops.

These recordings will be turned into a final video that will be shown to Elected Members and organisations involved in delivering the workshops, and will act as a resource for the broader community.

The Planeteers program is aimed at helping young people build knowledge and skills to assist them in contributing to climate action through sustainable best practices and advocacy. The program was made possible by an FRRR ABC Heywire Youth Innovation Grant

Alice Springs Town Council values the voices of young people, and going forward the Planeteers will have a chance to make suggestions towards the Climate Action Plan.
