In fact, it is better to avoid planting them in your garden to completely eliminate the risk. It is highly recommended to rather avoid planting these dangerous plants in your yard if you own a pet. In case you already have any of them, then restrict your dog from going to that area and keep a check on him when he is out. You must immediately contact your vet if your dog or cat has accidentally ingested even a small of these toxic plants. No matter how much you love to decorate your garden with these brightly colored flowers, you must always stay responsible towards your pet’s health and you can certainly opt for other options which are non-toxic yet look equally pretty.
