Challenges That Helped Me Become a Better Pet Owner

How beautiful it is to anyhow contribute to making pet parenting easier. Yes, we do that, and that’s when we get to know a lot about pets and pet parents and the challenges they face to raise a pet. I completely understand that excitement and happiness of bringing that little bundle of joy at home. I still get goose bumps when I took my Fido in arms for the very first time. But it comes to train, enforce rules and give endless commands, trust me all the puppy cuteness fades away for a while. No offense, of course! I am a pet parent as well, and I fairly know the happiness that a dog brings to our lives. But it’s about the struggles and challenges we face as a pet parent are a bit tricky to handle.

Being a party animal, it was hard for me to almost give up my parties just because I had a life depending on me to look for. So, I would suggest getting a pet immediately if you’re struggling with time management, I bet you will notice drastic changes. This is because pets have a routine and they are damn serious about it. I never knew that I have to walk my dog irrespective of any weather or climate because of all she wants me to take her to walk no

matter what. Daisy’s mealtime, her playtime, her sleep pattern, and everything you need to brace yourselves to be super-organized.

Now, let’s talk about pets behavior. They actually have mood swings. And they become very grumpy when it comes to brushing their teeth, bathing them, and doing all the stuff that’s for their own good. At times Daisy will just decide to poop right in the middle of the street, that weekend morning face lick when I badly wanna sleep, their craving to eat human food on the table, their sudden barks at random strangers in the public place, etc. The list never ends.

It’s exhausting at times to handle a pet after a long working day.

Training your pet is crucial and that’s when the challenge begins. You just cannot yell at your pet, they’ll get anxious, feel bad and won’t be in a learning mode. You need to be calm, cool and composed while training them and keep a bag full of treats ready. The other challenges are to stock up pet essentials because you never know when your dog can get infected by fleas and ticks and worms and the list of other parasites...ugh, I hate them. Dog shampoo, water and food bowl, the cleaners and the after cleaners, collars, odor removers, dog treats, and a lot more. All you need to be is financially organized as well. Things and all is fine but the core factor is that it’s you who needs to be mentally prepared to deal with all the odds of a living creature, no matter how adorable and loving they are. And patiently implementing those ideas really made pet parenting easier.

Well! Summing it up, all I want to say is that there are no basics or a theory to make you a successful pet parent. It entirely depends on how well you invest your time to train, understand and nourish your pet. Because, in the end, when you’ll see how unconditionally your dog loves you, you’ll feel all your parenting efforts are worth it.
