elcome
Dear Friends,
Whether you have known G. Collins & Sons for many years or are discovering us for the first time, we are delighted to welcome you and to share a little more of our world with you.
As we prepare to open our new doors this winter, I would like to thank our clients, friends and the wider community for their continued support. Without you, none of this would be possible.
December 2026 marks an exciting new chapter in our story as we open our second residence, The G. Collins & Sons Townhouse. Designed to offer a truly immersive experience, The Townhouse will bring together beautiful jewellery, fine watches and the warm, individual service that has always been central to our family business.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to our Townhouse.
The opening of The Townhouse also marks another significant milestone for G. Collins & Sons, as we are immensely proud to become an Official Rolex Authorised Retailer. It is a landmark moment in our history and one that represents an exciting new era for us. For me, what makes this moment particularly exciting is the sense that there is still so much more ahead of us. We will continue to grow, strive to create even more extraordinary jewellery in our expanding workshop and push the boundaries of what we can achieve. After more than four decades of our family’s story, in many ways, I truly believe we are just getting started.

his winter will see the opening of G. Collins & Sons’ Townhouse, an impressive three-storey residence spanning over 6,000 square feet in Royal Tunbridge Wells, bringing together fine jewellery and watches with private rooms, hospitality and event spaces. Its opening marks an extraordinary milestone for the business as it becomes an Official Rolex Authorised Retailer. Originally built in the mid-1800s, the Grade II listed building, with its distinctive architectural features and historical interest, has undergone a bespoke redesign and redevelopment to create a series of elegant spaces dedicated to fine watches and jewellery. The refurbishment reintroduces grandeur and elegance across three floors, creating a setting that feels more like a private home than a traditional retail space, with Rolex at the heart of the new Townhouse. The Rolex space is a truly showstopping centrepiece, spanning 2,000 square feet across two levels and connected by a striking spiral staircase that rises through the centre of the interior. ng spiral staircase that rises through the centre of the interior. From the distinctive and recognisable window display to the rich walnut finishes, every detail has been considered to showcase a wide selection of its most iconic timepieces. A generous oval counter forms the focal point of the welcome area, accompanied by a private lounge for more personal consultations. The spiral staircase draws clients
upwards to the first floor, where a bar and lounge shift the experience from showroom to salon, offering a discreet setting for appointments, conversation and hospitality. Throughout the Rolex space, details have been considered with the same precision as the watches themselves, from the materials and finishes to the presentation of the collections and the specialist team on hand to guide clients through them. The result is an environment designed not simply for viewing watches, but for taking the time to appreciate the skill and heritage behind them. That commitment extends beyond the showroom. The Townhouse will also be home to a dedicated Rolex after-sales and watchmaking facility, allowing clients to bring their Rolex watches directly to G. Collins & Sons for servicing. Within this specialist area, Rolex-accredited watchmakers will carry out servicing and maintenance, bringing expert after-sales care together with the new retail experience under one roof.

THE NEW SHOWROOM
Alongside Rolex, The Townhouse will showcase G. Collins & Sons’ own highjewellery collections and contemporary heirlooms in backlit framed cases, celebrating each creation as a work of art. A sweeping curved marble counter brings a sculptural quality to the room, while a private consultation area creates a more intimate setting in which to discover the collections. Moving through The Townhouse, clients encounter a dedicated space for FOPE, the Italian jeweller known for its patented Flex’it innovation and distinctive Novecento mesh design. Its Italian heritage and modern aesthetic make FOPE a natural complement to G. Collins & Sons’ own gemstone and diamond collections. From there, the journey continues into an expansive area dedicated to Cartier, where the Maison’s instantly recognisable red traces the contours of the interior. Carefully considered lighting invites visitors to explore the details and appreciate the artistry that has long defined Cartier’s approach to watchmaking. Together, the thoughtful use of colour, light and material creates an environment that feels both contemporary and unmistakably Cartier. Beyond the principal brand spaces, The Townhouse reveals a series of discoveries, including discreet private rooms and a grand event space. Floorto-ceiling windows have been lovingly restored to echo the building’s original exterior appearance, preserving the character of the Grade II listed setting while supporting a refined contemporary experience. The opening considerably expands G. Collins & Sons’ presence on Royal Tunbridge Wells’ historic High Street. And just along the road, further expansion is already underway at the existing Flagship, with the G. COLLINS & SONS creation of a brand-new TOWNHOUSE Patek Philippe showroom 25 HIGH STREET five times the size of the ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS current space, set to open KENT TN1 1UT in 2027. The development builds on a relationship with 01892 534018 Patek Philippe spanning sales@gcollinsandsons.com more than two decades and reflects the importance of the partnership to G. Collins & Sons’ future. Together, the two addresses create a destination unlike any other in Kent – a place where knowledge, attentive service and generations of expertise come together with some of the most internationally recognised names in watchmaking and jewellery.

A Celebrated Jewellery Legacy
“I’m incredibly proud of what my father built and very conscious of the responsibility that comes with taking the business forward.”
FOUR DECADES OF CRAFTSMANSHIP, FAMILY & PERSONAL SERVICE Since 1985, G. Collins & Sons has built its reputation on beautiful jewellery, specialist knowledge, quality and highly individual service, growing from a single showroom into one of Royal Tunbridge Wells’ most distinctive family businesses. G. Collins & Sons has remained a family enterprise since its founder, Harry Collins, left London’s Bond Street in 1985 to establish his own showroom on Royal Tunbridge Wells’ High Street, where the business continues to grow today. From the outset, Harry paired an uncompromising approach to quality with a highly personal client experience, quickly attracting a loyal following and high-profile clientele. At 16, Harry’s son Josh Collins officially became part of the family business, learning from the ground up and gaining experience across every corner of the company. Over the years, he developed a deep understanding of the craft and specialist knowledge behind the house, alongside the commitment to quality and client relationships that his father had made its hallmark. That progression reached a significant milestone in 2019, when Josh became CEO, building on the foundations established by his father and taking G. Collins & Sons forward as the second generation of the family business. “I’m incredibly proud of what my father built and very conscious of the responsibility that comes with taking the business forward. For me, it’s about respecting those foundations while continuing to evolve and never standing still. There is so much more we want to achieve, and that’s what excites me most – continuing to grow, improve and move the business forward, while holding on to the values and personal relationships that have always made G. Collins & Sons special.”

That personal approach remains central to the business today. At its core is a simple belief: every client should feel special, understood and genuinely looked after. Whether choosing something of significant value or restoring something with deeply sentimental meaning, clients are welcomed with the same warmth and individual attention, fostering a sense of trust and familiarity that extends across generations. Today, the business continues to grow from its home in Royal Tunbridge Wells while remaining firmly rooted in the principles on which it was founded. As tastes and expectations evolve, its commitment to quality, expertise and individual service remains unwavering.

THE IN-HOUSE WORKSHOP
Behind The Sparkle A WORKSHOP PRESERVING GENERATIONS OF CRAFTSMANSHIP IN ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS.
B
ehind the scenes of G. Collins & Sons’ elegant showrooms lies the beating heart of the business: a bustling workshop where over 25 skilled craftspeople create, repair and restore jewellery. Together, they bring more than 400 years of combined experience, preserving traditional skills while producing jewellery designed to be treasured for future generations. For many visitors, the finished creation is all they will ever see, but for CEO Josh Collins, much of what makes it special happens long before it reaches the display cabinets. “What you see in the showroom is really only the final chapter. Behind it can be weeks or even months of work, with numerous craftspeople contributing their expertise along the way. I love that – the finished jewellery can look effortless, but there is an extraordinary amount of skill behind it.” It is a way of working that cannot be hurried. Many of the techniques practised in the workshop take years, often decades, to master, and creating something by hand demands both time and patience. That investment is integral to the process: everything created here is made not simply for today, but to be worn, enjoyed and passed down through generations. The workshop has become a cornerstone of the family business, setting G. Collins & Sons apart in an industry where much of the making is outsourced. “The workshop is fundamental to who we are. Having our craftspeople here means ideas can move from a conversation with a client to a sketch and into the workshop, all under one roof. Clients can meet the people actually creating their jewellery, and for me, that connection is incredibly special.” The Search For Rarity Finding a truly extraordinary gemstone begins long before it reaches the jeweller’s bench. At G. Collins & Sons, the ability to source rare stones has been cultivated over generations, supported by a trusted network of suppliers and relationships that reach all the way to the artisanal mines themselves. The business is renowned for its expertise in finding the very best fancy-coloured diamonds, but its passion for remarkable stones extends far beyond diamonds alone. Rare and unusual gemstones are sourced from across the world, with each stone hand-selected for its quality, character and individuality of colour. A look inside the jewellery cabinets reveals a remarkable spectrum of stunning gemstones, from watermelon tourmalines to padparadscha sapphires and tsavorite garnets, each one a reminder of the extraordinary variety and beauty found in the natural world.and tsavorite garnets, each one a reminder of the extraordinary variety and beauty found in the natural world.
OUR CRAFTSMAN’S BENCH
From Stone To Sketch Individuality is central to the jewellery at G. Collins & Sons. When developing a new creation, the process begins with the stone. Its colour, cut and individual characteristics provide the inspiration, with the artist considering how best to showcase what makes it unique. From there, the concept is refined through sketches before moving into the workshop, where skilled craftspeople bring it to life. Depending on the complexity of the design, the process may take many weeks – sometimes months – to complete, passing through the hands of numerous specialists before reaching the showroom. Each person plays an integral role, contributing their own expertise to the character and quality of the finished result. With the entire creative process brought together under one roof, every design benefits from a seamless exchange of ideas and skills, from the first sketch to the final polish.

Follow The Journey...
Passing On The Craft For Josh, preserving these skills is about more than celebrating the expertise that exists today. It is about ensuring it is passed on to future generations. “We have an enormous amount of knowledge within our workshop, and I feel a real responsibility to make sure that knowledge is passed on. These are skills that can take decades to master. If we don’t invest in young craftspeople and give them the opportunity to learn from the very best, there is a real danger those skills could eventually be lost.” Having grown up surrounded by workshops and artisans, Josh has witnessed first-hand the dedication required to become a master craftsperson. While the industry continues to evolve, he believes there is no substitute for the creativity, precision and attention to detail that come from skilled hands and years of experience. That commitment extends beyond preserving traditional techniques. Through apprenticeships, mentorship and hands-on experience, aspiring jewellers can develop the confidence and expertise needed to succeed, while bringing fresh perspectives to the trade.

The Lasting Legacy
This is said to be one of the finest examples of a morganite in recent times.
As consumer tastes evolve, demand for bespoke and handcrafted jewellery continues to grow – a trend the workshop team welcomes. Yet beyond changing tastes lies something altogether more enduring: the idea of creating something with a life far beyond the moment it is made. “One of the things I love most about jewellery is that what we create today could still be worn in a hundred years’ time. It may be passed from a mother to a daughter, or a father to a son, and become part of another family’s story. There aren’t many things we buy today that can do that, and I think that makes what we do incredibly special.”

BEGIN WITH THE ESSENTIALS Diamond stud earrings, a delicate diamond pendant or a simple gold necklace are natural foundations - easy to wear on their own and equally suited to being paired with other pieces. These are the quiet essentials: jewellery you reach for without having to think about it.
A well-rounded jewellery collection starts with a few versatile pieces that work for almost any occasion.
INTRODUCE COLOUR If diamonds and precious metals form the foundations of a jewellery wardrobe, coloured gemstones bring it to life.
C U R AT E YOU R DI AMON D S Diamonds have an important place within a jewellery wardrobe because of their extraordinary adaptability. They complement almost every colour, work beautifully with both gold and platinum and can be dressed up or down with ease.
Sapphires, rubies and emeralds are enduring favourites, but the world of gemstones extends far beyond the traditional trio. Spinels can range from vivid pinks to cool blues; tourmalines offer an extraordinary spectrum of colour, while stones such as tanzanite can introduce wonderfully distinctive tones.
LEAVE ROOM FOR THE EXTRAORDINARY These are the exceptional pieces the rare gemstone, the spectacular necklace and the one-of-a-kind ring. Pieces of remarkable beauty and rarity, chosen not simply to be worn, but to be treasured for generations.
CONSIDER PROPORTION Building a jewellery wardrobe is not simply about acquiring different categories of jewellery, it is about creating variety. If your everyday pieces are delicate, consider introducing something with greater scale: a bold cocktail ring, a substantial pair of earrings or a beautifully sculptural cuff.
