Aliante Master Elections IN ADVANCE OF THE SEPTEMBER board elections, the Aliante Publications Committee
sent an invitation to all candidates to write a statement and have it published in the September/October issue of the Aliante Aerial. Each candidate was given the following questions suggesting a free-form response. 1. When and where have you lived in the Las Vegas valley, and why did you choose Aliante? 2. How many board meetings have you attended in the last year, and how will you encourage others to do so? 3. What compelled you to run for the board? 4. What qualifies you to be an effective board member? 5. What improvements do you envision for Aliante that you can actively facilitate? The questions themselves will not be printed as part of your response, so please write your statement accordingly. A 300-word limit was strictly enforced in order to ensure that adequate space is

Each candidate was asked that their statement reflect why they are the best candidate for the position. The committee did not edit candidates’ statements.
