Work Experience Week 29TH JUNE - 3RD JULY (WEEK 11) WEX Week is fast approaching! All students who are not participating in PLLT will be undertaking Work Experience, either through an in-person placement or Virtual WEX.
STEP 1
Decide goals for WEX, employment, pathways and industries STEP 2
Find employers on InPlace or external
If you need support securing a placement, please complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form as soon as possible. Key deadlines:
STEP 3
Student makes contact with host employer to confirm a placement.
Confirmation of a placement: Friday, Week 8 4-Way Agreements submitted: Friday, Week 9 Students without a placement will be allocated Virtual WEX in Week 10 Make sure you stay on top of these deadlines to ensure you’re prepared for WEX Week. WEX Drop-In Sessions Support sessions will be held every break 1 in the room 124 across from the front office. Please pop past if you require any assistance.
STEP 4
Once a placement is confirmed student collects the necessary paperwork from Careers Team. STEP 5
Completes & returns paperwork, confirms with employer any final details. STEP 6
Student attends placement. Reflect on their experience and future pathways.
