Current trends and ‘must-haves’ kitchen features 1. Quooker boiling tap – we have tried all of the others and the original is by far the best. Not only do Hunt’s staff have them personally, they have moved house with them!

2. Showpiece Island – built to be the centre point of a kitchen. Diary tables (as we call them) are increasingly popular and we can even put charging stations in the drawers for phones and iPads.

3. Breakfast cabinet – Push in doors to reveal a cabinet with coffee machines and toaster ready for breakfast. When breakfast is finished, it can all be hidden from view.

4. Good quality hardware – Knobs and Handles are the finishing piece for your kitchen. Quality matters and poor quality hardware will make your kitchen look cheap. Ask the designers to show you a range and find the perfect pair to elevate your kitchen.
