WEDNESDAY, MAY 24 FROM 12-1 PM Virtual event: Register at www.alexandriamn.org.
What is next for the Alexandria Senior Center? The Center has played a key role in combating loneliness and helping seniors maintain their independence for nearly four decades. What changes does it need to make to meet the changing needs of a growing senior community (projected to be at 44% in Douglas County in 2030)?
This presentation will share information on the current status of the Center and highlight key findings from statewide research on what other communities are doing to provide engaging programs and services for seniors as they prepare for a “silver tsunami.”
