First January meeting
Key club is an international organization that is very helpful to the community and school. Being in Key Club in general is an honorable club/organization to be in. It’ s back to “What can I do to help make my school a better place” . My first time back It was very peaceful, but exciting being there. I signed in as usual for another great meeting. I love how we start out every meeting with the pledge of America and Texas. Then after the pledge, we did our key club pledge. I like how honorable it is. We then sat down together and listened to the group leaders speak and talk about the upcoming events ahead. She would describe what we would be doing there and how the project, or event will run that day. How the event is helpful to others and how fun it will be. All the events you go and help out as much as you can. This is a great pleasure to help others and makes your community better for all. Knowing that you're participating in something that could possibly change some ones life for the better is a great accomplishment. We would play a few games at our meeting because it added just a little fun to the discussion. We then found out we had a zoom meeting to attend that would help us a little better on sportsmanship and leadership to go more in depth about Key Club as a whole. The zoom meeting wasn't that long, but explained a lot. It was very understandable and the woman had a great presentation. There was always room for improvement! She brushed up on that as well. She had links and sources that were very helpful to us. At the end she asked us if we had any questions. The Key Club meet all together lasted about an hour. I got a lot from it and cant wait for the next one.
