Health and wellbeing have always been at the very heart of Dr. Akhavan’s passions. Having graduated with a Kinesiology degree from Simon Fraser University in 1990, he worked as a personal fitness trainer for three years before continuing his education and receiving a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic University in Portland, Oregon. He has been in private practice in North Vancouver for the last 25 years.

Dr. Akhavan treats patients young and old, from those who live day-to-day with chronic back and neck issues, sciatica, disc herniation migraines and arthritis pain, to those who want to optimize their health by prevention.
