That’s how best practices are created, and how other businesses can learn from what we’ve done to implement for themselves. In part because of the work that we’ve done at BBTV, in 2020, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appointed me as Co-Chair of G20 EMPOWER, which works to bring together representatives of the private sector and government counterparts of the G20 countries with the common goal of accelerating women’s leadership. I am a big believer in inspiring future leaders, and I work very hard to empower women to excel in the male-dominated professional landscape. As an example, a recent McKinsey study outlined that organizations with equal representation in leadership are 50% more likely to outperform their peers.

MUSIC Aleph’s musical journey began in Ehmej, Lebanon at the age of 3, when an old piano sparked his passion. While oriental tunes initially eluded him, his dedication led him to discover the “quarter tone.” With his first piano in hand, he harmoniously blended oriental and occidental melodies. During the Lebanese Civil War, he found refuge in his uncle Michael Ramia’s studio, a multi-instrument virtuoso, honing his skills. Aleph became the star of family gatherings, often performing alongside his cousin Carla Ramia, whose Arabic singing continues to captivate audiences.
