Welcome to the 2025 NPL Season Opener at 1 Solution Frank Mitchell Park!
Dear players, supporters, and football family, On behalf of the club, I extend a warm welcome to everyone joining us at 1 Solution Frank Mitchell Park for the first game of the 2025 NPL season It’s fantastic to see our community coming together once again to support the beautiful game.
A special acknowledgment goes to our team, FK Beograd, for their dedication and hard work during the preseason Our players, alongside our coaches and support staff, have put in tremendous effort to prepare for this campaign, and we have high hopes for what lies ahead Tonight, we take on Adelaide City FC in a matchup rich in history and rivalry. Through the years, our clubs have shared many intense and memorable battles, shaping the landscape of South Australian football Both teams have built strong legacies, and this fixture is always one to watch
As we kick off the season, we look forward to the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead With the talent and passion in our squad, we believe this will be a year to remember. Hello and welcome to our supporters, officials, volunteers and sponsors to Season 2025
Reviewing the 2024 season, it was a season of consolidation for our club after a big turn around of players and a new coaching staff, the season had many highs combined with some inconsistent performances resulting in a 7th place finish, something we are not satisfied with as a group but certainly a platform to push on for this coming season
Today we welcome Adelaide City to 1 Solution Frank Mitchell Park, and a special welcome to President Angelo Carrozza and new coach Vas Parhas for what is sure to be an exciting Round1 clash
Our pre-season has been excellent with the introduction of our new Strength and Conditioning Coach, Josh, from Mitise Performance, pushing the players both physically and mentally. The players have worked extremely hard, as we have seen in kilometres covered, top speeds we are reaching, we are physically ahead of where we were this time last season.
On the park, we have seen solid performances all the way through our friendly matches, whilst giving minutes to the entire squad as well as some of our promising younger players from our Reserves team given an opportunity to impress A highlight was our friendly match weekend in Melbourne, where we travelled to play against Melbourne City Youth Team at the Melbourne City Academy in Casey Fields, a great test on the field and an excellent bonding weekend for the squad
I’d like to officially welcome our new signings to the club for the 2025 Season From back to front, we are delighted to add Dakota Ochsenham (Adelaide City), Cooper Nunn (American Eagles University, USA), Markus Orchard (Sturt Lions), Kristin Konstandopoulos (Campbelltown City), Cristian Borghetto (Fulham United), Riley Stam (Adelaide United) and Lorenzo Boselli (Syracuse University, USA) to our squad, all players with outstanding attributes which will bring both quality and experience to our squad
Finally, I’d like to congratulate Massimo Falco on being elevated to our Senior Leadership Squad Massimo is now in his 4th year at FK Beograd, a player who shows leadership qualities on and off the field and has remained loyal to FK Beograd, buying into what we are trying to achieve at the club from day one Andoni Natsiopoulos again will be our Club Captain, supported by Vice Captains Jared Clark, Ninko Beric and Massimo Falco – all excellent leaders who we are proud to represent our club on the pitch
We look forward to another huge crowd at Frank Mitchell Park tonight, be loud as the team loves hearing the chants from the Terraces!

Good afternoon everyone, a massive welcome back to Frank Mitchell Park for another season in the NPL where we come up against powerhouse Adelaide City in round one
We have had a very busy pre season on the field which has been led by our new strength and conditioning coach Joshua Smith Josh who was at the club previously in 2019 returns to the club where he has been superb in making sure us boys are prepared mentally and physically over the course of the year and brings a strong passionate presence to the playing group In terms of the squad, we have bolstered our group immensely by signing many top quality players locally and internationally that will be a perfect fit for our club. Along with the strong core of our remaining squad, it is a fantastic combination that will be pivotal towards our successes this year on and off the field
The coaching staff has remained the same, their efforts throughout pre season have certainly not gone unnoticed in getting us prepared. As always, they are looking for ways to improve on last year ’ s strong performances and to start the 2025 season off on a positive note For everyone in attendance today, we hope you enjoy the match up between two very talented teams, treat yourself to the amazing food that is always available on gameday and we hope to see you again very soon
