TRANSCULTURALIDAD

La universalidad es un término aplicado para un elemento o situación conocido y utilizado mundialmente; más que todo la palabra universalidad es aplicada para hacer referencia a aquellas ideas o creencias que se basan en una verdad universal o manejada por la mayoría de los habitantes del mundo entero, se puede decir entonces que el universalismo no es una ideología mundial sino más bien es una forma de interpretar la realidad vivida bajo un mismo horizonte o creencia, un pensamiento universal es aquel que le da confianza a los creyentes fieles de esa idea de explicar, conceptualizar y ver las cosas sobre un mismo punto de vista, esto es lo que sucede por ejemplo con las religiones, las cuales siempre tienen una forma de explicar el porqué suceden las cosas, sea cual sea la creencia teológica están acompañadas de un pensamiento universalista.

DIVERSIDAD DIVERSIDAD

La diversidad es la existencia de cosas variadas y distintas entre sí dentro de un determinado ámbito o espacio. El término proviene del idioma latín, del vocablo “diversitas”, y refiere a aquello que es diverso, variado, múltiple, dispar o diferente.

El concepto de diversidad es aplicable en muchos ámbitos y hace alusión a las diferencias que puede haber entre personas, animales, grupos, cosas, opiniones, elecciones, entre muchas otras. Dentro de los seres humanos existe la diversidad cultural, étnica, sexual, lingüística, ideológica, religiosa, entre otras.

ACULTURACIÓN

La aculturación es el proceso a través del cual un individuo, un grupo de personas o un pueblo adquiere y asimila los rasgos y elementos de otra cultura diferente a la propia.

De esta manera y por diversas causas muchos individuos o grupos sociales han modificado o adaptado diversos elementos culturales propios por otros, poniendo en peligro de pérdida su cultura.

Cabe mencionar que la aculturación es un proceso que se ha dado desde tiempos remotos a lo largo de la historia del hombre y desde el primer momento en que hicieron contacto comunidades sociales diferentes..

La transculturación es un neologismo que indica el proceso de asimilación de una cultura por otra resultando en una nueva identidad cultural.

El concepto de transculturación fue introducido en el campo de la antropología cultural por el cubano Fernando Ortiz (1881-1969) como un intento de expresar de forma más exacta el término inglés acculturation definiendo las diferentes fases de la asimilación de una cultura a otra.
