STUDIO PATRICIA BARBIS is an innovative Hospitality Design firm with offices in Lima and New York City. Our concept-driven projects are based in narrative or story that guides our design process and where each element and texture expresses the DNA of that narrative. In order to create a holistic experience we collaborate in every aspect of the project from branding, graphics, uniforms to interiors. We also believe that great design needs to first and foremost function properly, and we pay great attention to this.

Nuestros proyectos se basan en una narrativa conceptual que guía la dirección del diseño, donde cada elemento, detalle y textura sigue el ADN de esa narrativa. Este enfoque nos permite crear una experiencia holística para el usuario y lo aplicamos también al diseñar otro tipo de locales comerciales y condominios residenciales. Patricia Barbis, Master in interior design with 25 years of experience in a variety of hospitality, retail, high-end residential and mixed-use projects around the world. In 1992, after receiving her bachelor degree in Interior Design at EDIM and The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, returns to Lima to open STUDIO PATRICIA BARBIS a design-build studio. After a few years of this experience and with an extensive portfolio moves to New York to pursue her Master Degree in Interior Design from New York School of Interior Design where she graduates with the Highest Distinction. Rockwellgroup hired her while still at school during a Hospitality Design crit presentation. During almost 20 years in New York with a brief stay in Miami she has worked with the top Hospitality Design firms in the industry, like Rockwellgroup, Tihany Design, RTKL and David Mexico Design Group working on a myriad of high profile projects from Mexico to Dubai for different hotel brands, cruise ships, top chefs and restaurants.
Patricia Barbis, es Master en diseño de interiores con 25 años de experiencia desarrollando todo tipo de proyectos alrededor del mundo. En 1992, luego de culminar la carrera de diseño interior en EDIM y en el Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, funda STUDIO PATRICIA BARBIS, diseñando y construyendo proyectos comerciales y residenciales en el Perú. Luego de esta experiencia y con un extenso portafolio, decide partir a Nueva York para llevar el programa de Master en el New York School of Interior Design, graduándose con el Highest Distinction y logrando una oferta de trabajo de la renombrada compañía de diseño Rockwellgroup, mientras presentaba un proyecto para el curso de diseño de hoteles. Durante sus 20 años de estadía en Nueva York, con un breve paso por Miami, trabajó con firmas de diseño líderes en la industria como Rockwellgroup, Tihany Design, RTKL y David Mexico Design Group, realizando lujosos proyectos, desde México hasta Dubai, para grandes cadenas de hoteles, cruceros, famosos chefs y restaurantes con el más alto nivel creativo.
