CONSCIOUSNESS BEAUTY

Amber Sibley

I live in the centre of a vesica piscis … one whole circle is inner light; the other is outer confidence, the middle of which I call Conscious Beauty. To me there is beauty everywhere. I see it in oil on puddles at the garage, and the peeling paint on shed doors… but the depth of beauty is knowing that I am an intrinsic part of All That Is.. I’m not IN nature; I am nature! And the beauty to be found in the frequencies of nature all around me is undeniable; therefore I must be beautiful!

But what to do when you don’t feel like that?

To be honest, during menopause I didn’t either, and yet I know how far a little outer confidencecan go too.

TRANSITIONS AND TRANSMUTATIONS

John Sjovik

The changing season will soon be here and we will bathe in the glow of its moon. It is time to honour the Green Man, to celebrate Mabon and the autumn equinox.

The Lakota tribe of North America had a name for the month of October which was “The Moon of the Changing Season” or “The Moon of Falling Leaves”.

There is a colourful rhythm to the transition we witness in nature as summer goes into autumn. We would be wise to follow and contribute to that rhythm.

Ceremony is important and not least in the celebration of seasons as the year progresses from one stage to the next.

When I was a child in Sweden, I would collect yellow leaves that had fallen off oak trees in the park nearby where we lived. My sister showed me how to put them between the pages of a book and leave them to dry and become flat.

My family would visit a farm with an apple orchard and we bought freshly made cider. We would pick plums and my mum made jam and compote.

Changing seasons, falling leaves, apples and plums... Autumn is a time to celebrate and enjoy.

Hidden in the Mist

In her first work of fiction, Sue Penney tells the story of her eponymously named protagonist. Knowing she’d always been able to feel things she couldn’t always seem, Susan’s alarm bells started to ring when her husband started acting strangely. And when her daughter’s behaviour also changed, she knew it was down to her alone to save her family from the evil permeating their home

EGYPTIAN EYE OF HORUS MYSTERY SCHOOLS

Julie de Vere Hunt

In ‘Mary Magdalene’s Legacy’, Mary Magdalene, her mother and her daughter Sarah, all attended the Isis mystery school in Alexandria, Egypt.

“My mother had trained as a priestess at the Great Mother Isis Temple School in Alexandria. She wore a golden serpent on her left arm, spiralling up from the elbow, signifying she was an initiate of this Temple School. The serpent represents the kundalini energy at the base of the spine, which when activated through specific energetic or tantric practices, can spiral up and shift consciousness in an individual beyond the mind into Cosmic Awareness. This symbol of resurrection indicates the wearer has been initiated into the mysteries of Isis, and serves the Great Mother’s creation and its awakening from ‘spiritual death’ or separation consciousness.

The electro (male) – magnetic (female) energy of the earth also flows in a serpentine fashion, called ley lines. These ley lines circumnavigate the earth to form a consciousness grid.
