The mission of Albertus Magnus College is to provide men and women with an education that promotes the search for truth in all its dimensions and is practical in its application. Founded by the Dominican Sisters of Peace, Albertus Magnus College, faithful to its Catholic heritage and the JudeoChristian tradition, remains dedicated to providing an opportunity for learning which responds to the academic needs and ethical challenges of its students and of society. This mission of Albertus Magnus College derives from the intellectual tradition of the Dominican Order whose essential charism is the search for truth (Veritas). Reflective of the dedication and commitment to service of our founder and sponsor, we at Albertus assume responsibility for the fulfillment of our particular service as an academic community.

Dear Alumni and Friends of Albertus, The yearlong celebration of the College’s 90th anniversary has provided us with a look at our amazing heritage and a preview of decades to come through the achievements of Albertus 2020, our forward-thinking plan for a strategic path for the future. The five initiatives of Albertus 2020 focus on expanding our horizons while maintaining the core Dominican values of study, prayer, community and service. Let me share some of the results of Albertus 2020 made possible by the innovative thinking and perseverance of many groups and departments working collaboratively to make initiatives successful. We have established new master’s degree programs in accounting and criminal justice, and added five-year Bachelor-to-Master’s programs in six areas; we applied for and were awarded a threeyear Davis Foundation Grant to promote digital literacy for faculty and students; we launched a faculty-mentoring
