CRISIS is a Berlin based collaboration of Spanish artist Alberto Ramirez and German artist Jochen Vrba. Their current work is the BORDERS Series 1 and 2.
The exhibition deals with various types of borders – their random and arbitrary nature. In an explorative, spontaneous and liberally simplifying way, the artists take up the question of ‘where is the line(s) between artwork, creative process and the tools they utilize. It is just this question that blurs the boundaries between the individual works of the entire exhibition. Besides this, the viewer will find borders of different shapes and colors in CRISIS’ artwork. The lines of movement will lead viewers through their paintings in different directions, rhythms and vibrations.
