GIBSON is an up and coming young textile artist in Alberta. A review of the numerous awards this fine craftsperson has received in the past few years is as impressive as his weaving. A student at the University of Victoria , he received the President s Scholarship Award each year from 1978 to 1980 when he graduated in the Chemistry Co—Op Program. The following year , at the Alberta College of Art, Murray won the R.J. Kerr Memorial Scholarship.
