“My family’s sacrifices inspire me every day…They may not have had the chance to pursue higher education, but because of their sacrifices, I do. That is why I refuse to let anything hold me back. My success is not just for me, it is for them.”

Why Create a Scholarship? Why Create a Scholarship?
"At Healing Motion, we believe physical therapy plays a vital role in restoring mobility, independence, and quality of life for people in our community every day. By providing a scholarship through the Albany Public Schools Foundation, we hope to make the path to a physical therapy doctorate program more attainable for the next generation of caregivers and leaders in the field. It's our way of giving back while encouraging a lifelong commitment to healing and service."

PEELY’S TEACHER SUPPLY HOUSE
Improving student outcomes by providing free classroom and school supplies to teachers in the Greater Albany Public Schools District
Peely’s Teacher Supply House is a vital program that supports educators by providing free school and classroom supplies—resources they would otherwise purchase with their own money. By removing this financial burden, we help ensure that every student, regardless of background, has the tools they need to succeed in school. In a time when many families are struggling to afford basic school supplies, our program helps teachers fill the gap so students can come to class prepared and ready to learn.
In its first year, Peely’s Teacher Supply House served teachers in grades Pre-K through 5, saving them nearly $15,000 in out-of-pocket expenses. Beginning in Fall 2025, we are proud to expand access to include all teachers across the Greater Albany Public Schools district— from Pre-K through 12th grade. As the program grows, so does its impact—empowering more teachers, uplifting more students, and strengthening our entire school community.
Peely’s is fully funded through generous donations, sponsorships, and grants. We are deeply grateful for the support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals who make this program possible. To learn more about how you can support Peely’s Teacher Supply House and make a lasting impact on our schools, please contact us.
