DEAR DONORS,
The future looks bright for The Albany Academies and our students! Our academic and athletic programs came through the difficult past two years stronger than ever. Our students and professional community showed us just how resilient, resourceful, and remarkable they are when facing unexpected challenges. I am so proud of all of them!
A great deal of credit should also be given to our alumni, alumnae, and other supportive donors. Your volunteer efforts and your financial support help us to thrive. Together, as an entire community, we ensure that our students continue to receive a top-notch education in an innovative learning environment.
Even during this current climate, when economic stability for organizations and individuals alike is somewhat uncertain, you, our donors, come through again and again as you provide tremendous support to The Albany Academies and our students. I am very grateful to each of you who contributed to our annual or endowed funds or supported our special events. Your generosity has always been important to our success.
As we embark on the next evolution in the 200-plus-year history of The Albany Academy and Albany Academy for Girls, with the recent Board of Trustees’ approval of a plan to create a new model for our School that allows us to continue to focus on academic excellence and better positions us for a successful future, I hope we can count on your continued support. Together, we will build a model that ensures our future for the next 100 years.
With my sincere gratitude,
Christopher J. Lauricella, Ed.M. P’20, ’22 Head of School

DEAR DONORS TO THE ALBANY ACADEMIES,
Kathy Calvin, former president and CEO of the United Nations Foundation, has said, “Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference.” I believe those words accurately sum up the impact that our donors and supporters have on The Albany Academies.
Time and time again, when we reach out to our alumni, alumnae, and other donors, you respond generously and oftentimes ask, “What more can I do?” You continue to exhibit your dedication to The Academies and your willingness to support us financially. For that I am most grateful.
Whether you contributed to our Academies Fund, our endowed funds, or our Giving Tuesday campaign, or supported our special events as an attendee or a sponsor, I hope you know that your gifts have a real impact on the outstanding education we provide to our students. I know I can ount on you for your continued support in the coming year, as well.
If you are considering your first gift to us, there is no better time than now to take that step. The options for giving are nearly limitless. You can donate to our Academies Fund, set up a scholarship with a specific intent, support a capital project, or provide instructions for a legacy gift through estate planning. I am always happy to discuss your interests for charitable giving and how to best fulfill your intentions.
You are making a real difference. Thank you for all you do for our school and for our students!
Warmly,
Ann Wendth Chief Advancement Officer
