A LEGACY OF SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Located on the iconic waterfront of Battery Park City, The Solaire was designed to progressive standards by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. Local sourcing, longevity and sustainability were key objectives in achieving a fully-integrated, environmentally-responsive, and energyconserving design.

The Solaire was the first residential tower in the United States to attain a Gold LEED rating and was subsequently selected as A Top Ten Green Project by the American

Institute of Architects (AIA). The Solaire was also chosen by the United States Department of Energy to represent the nation in the Green Building Challenge — an international conference on sustainable technology. Today, this groundbreaking building is striving for a WELL Certification, which creates healthier environments for the residents living at The Solaire.

A DESIGN FOR BETTER LIVING

Throughout the building, superior air quality, abundant light, clean filtered water and greater energy efficiencies are paramount to supporting more meaningful work, rest and play at The Solaire.
